A day off? Wait, what⁉️

After going hard daily for the past 4 weeks, we decided to take a well deserved day off and head back over to Hornby Island, (because we love taking ferries 🙄), and visit Tribune Bay. Wow. Its been said its the Northern Little Hawaii, and we don't dispute that. The sand is much like that of Southern California and or Eastern Florida. So, if you haven't been, we highly recommend.

After spending a day exploring, visiting local shops and trying out the local food spots, we had to leave as we were called for an emergency tow of a 5th wheel in Qualicum Bay. Day off? "Ish". 🤷‍♂️

Headed back to our shop, switched trucks and right back out we went. After assisting the owner getting his slides in and rewiring the landing gear to function, we were able to complete the short move. Customer was absolutely thrilled. 🙏

Today ended up being awesome, and its days like today, which are often, that we are truly grateful for. So, we thank YOU all for the support.

Another day full of ferries. ⛴️

Yesterday we headed over to Surrey to pickup 600 pieces of Japanese Cedar. Early 5:00am start, headed to Langley to drop off 4x Cadillac wheels for a friend we picked up in Nanaimo. Then headed over and loaded up the cedar. 👍

The suppliers of the cedar are a father/son team and are super amazing. Once loaded, headed to Tsawwassen and were able to get on a ferry we didn't even know was running, which was 1hr sooner than planned. 👌

Once back on Vancouver Island, we headed to Nanaimo Harbour and got onto another ferry to Gabriola Island. After some ferry delays, we got to site and unloaded all 600 boards by hand with the customers, team effort!! What a beautiful house they are building, (floor to ceiling windows that are also doors that open to a forest, amazing). 😍

Long day, but successful with a repeat customer that continues to choose DPT. 🙏

Kootenay trip was smooth... 🤙

Customer reached out looking to have their unit brought out from Balfour, BC to Lake Cowichan on Vancouver Island as they are relocating, no problem!

Headed out first day. On the way we were called and asked if we could do an emergency move from Chilliwack to Hope, we accepted the challenge and it went smooth. Continued on to our hotel in Nelson, (Savoy Hotel in Nelson is always our go-to, soo comfy and great food). 😊

530am start the following morning and met with the storage facility owner at 6am. We had a great chat, (best part of the job is hearing peoples world travel stories). Hooked up, away we went. 🚛

Along the way, we stopped in Cawston, BC for some fresh fruit, (cherries are so yummy). Arrived at Horseshoe Bay ferry at 430pm. Delivered customers unit as dark fell at 920pm, (no setup photos). The young couple were stoked. 👍

I'd like to thank everyone involved in making this happen, including the customers mother. Collectively the plan came together flawlessly and it was literally a team effort. Welcome to Vancouver Island 🏝

Carry chains "just in case". 🤔

The day started with +9* and light drizzle. Soon after the sun was trying to break through. Mid day the temperature in the truck said "ice" and it started snowing heavily. Its June 10th, right⁉️ 45mins after that it was clear sky's and +22*.

Just another adventure in the unpredictable Kootenay and Okanagan regions.

Always something hangin' off the back. 👍

On our way to the Okanagan to pickup a 5th wheel destined for Vancouver Island, we were called to move a 5th wheel from a farm in Chilliwack to an RV Park in Hope. Just so happens we were in the area. 🤙

Customer was very pleased, and has passed our details onto a few of his family members also looking for their units to be moved. Thank you!!! 😊

Never been to Galiano Island before, beautiful. 😍

Customer reached out about moving their 5th wheel from a property in Lake Cowichan to Galiano Island. No problem, even if it means getting home at 1am! 🤙

Transport and transaction went very smoothly. Customer suggested a dinner spot that we just had to visit, and definitely did not disappoint. Spoke to a few other locals that asked for our business card and will be reaching out to bring more units over! 😎

We had a great 5 day trip, was an awesome adventure as always. 7 very happy customers, (already planning shipments with most for the near future). Quite the variety of items, (chicken feed, vehicle, vehicle parts, mowers, Cadillac wheels, personal items and a travel trailer). 😎

Thank you to all of our customers throughout Western Canada, we appreciate your loyalty. All the 4am mornings and 11pm nights are worth the efforts. 👍

The cool rigs you see when travelling.

1960's "Ultra Van" motorhome. Was built with aviation in mind. Pretty neat, never seen anything like it. Matches the style of a lot of the classic cars out in the parking lot of my hotel. Spotted approx 30 cars in town from the 50s and 60s.
