FLIXBUS SERVICE IS COMING TO NANTON!

Getting to Calgary, Edmonton, Lethbridge and beyond is about to get a whole lot easier!

Beginning Thursday, July 30, FlixBus will officially add Nanton to its intercity bus network, with pick-up and drop-off at the Nanton Visitor Information Centre, 2000 20 Avenue.

FlixBus is an intercity bus service connecting communities and major destinations across Canada and beyond. Travellers can enjoy affordable fares, comfortable seating, free Wi-Fi, power outlets and a free luggage allowance — without having to do the driving!

From Nanton, service will include up to four daily departures, with connections to Calgary, Calgary International Airport, Red Deer, Edmonton, Lethbridge, Medicine Hat, Regina and Winnipeg.

And the timing couldn't be better! Service begins just ahead of Nanton Round-Up Days, July 31–August 3, giving visitors another way to get to Nanton and residents a new option for travelling throughout the region.

Please note: The Visitor Information Centre is a pick-up and drop-off location only for FlixBus passengers. Day and overnight vehicle parking are not available at the VIC.

REGISTRATION IS NOW OPEN for the 12th Annual Nanton Parade of Garage Sales happening Saturday, June 20, 2026 from 9am–3pm!

Each year this event brings hundreds of visitors through Nanton and with all of the additional events happening around town this year, June 20 is shaping up to be one of the biggest community days Nanton has seen in quite some time.

Already planned for June 20:
