The Province of Manitoba has established a Disaster Financial Assistance (DFA) Program for the June 2026 Heavy Rains event. The program is available to support homeowners, farms, businesses and non-profit organizations with eligible uninsured losses as a result of heavy rains and overland flooding during June 2026. Residents are encouraged to contact their insurance provider first to determine available coverage.

Property owners should:
• take photographs of any damage;
• keep records of cleanup and repair activities; and
• retain all receipts and invoices related to recovery efforts.

REMINDER: parents and guardians have until end of day this Saturday, July 4 to get students signed up as MPI customers and purchase the Driver Education service at a broker or MPI Service Centre to be eligible to enroll them in the fall term of Driver Z.

Courses for the fall term will be posted on Course Finder on MPI's website tomorrow - Friday, July 3. Courses will have start dates in September, October and November to help families choose a schedule that works for them.
