Twenty years ago I ran my first real estate ad in Nelson's Kootenay Mountain Culture Magazine (KMC). This week I dug it out and put it next to the new one I just shot. Same girl, 20 years apart. 🏔️

Two things I want to tell you.

First — I'm bringing my original branding back. That mountain, my name underneath it, the logo I started with 20 years ago. I came across it again recently and I'm just as proud of it now as I was on day one, so it's coming back into everything I do.

Second — 2026 is my 20th year in real estate!

I started right here in my hometown, following my mom into this business. Ten of those years were in Nelson. The other ten I spent in Dubai, where I packed in a lifetime of experience and had the opportunity to manage a office of 100 agents in the heart of the city. I loved it. I learned.

Then life — and Covid — happened in 2020, and I landed back home. Restarted my career in the same town where I got my start.

This business is mountains and valleys. Highs and lows. It's shaped me, taught me things I didn't expect, and opened up the world to me.

Twenty years in, what I'm most grateful for is you — every client who's trusted me through the big decisions and the bold moves, from that first ad to this one. Nelson is home. It always has been. I'm just glad I get to do this work here.
