Two weeks ago at the Pickering College Holiday Home Tour I met a lovely woman who is with a girls' baton team. They are trying to raise funds to get the team to a European event! They are holding an online auction with some fantastic prizes - this is the last weekend for the auction, it closes on Sunday. Please check out the items you can bid on - there could be some great Christmas gifts there!

Hello everyone! I hope that you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving spent with family and friends!
With Thanksgiving behind us, you know what that means - Christmas is just around the corner. I love this time of year as it is when I support two local donations drives, Coats for Kids and Holiday Heroes.
Coats for Kids is run by the Newmarket Lions Club and collects new and gently used winter outerwear for ALL AGES (children to adults) to redistribute to those in need in the Newmarket area.
Holiday Heroes is run by the York Regional Police, with the goal of collecting new toys for the Salvation Army - all of these toys are given to families in York Region so their children have something special to open Christmas morning.
