My last day in Peru 🇵🇪! I’m back in Lima for the day and I’m going to visit the Larco Museum, one of the best museums to learn about the history and culture of Peru. I’ll then head over to Miraflores for some lunch and then a nice long walk along the boardwalk. Im excited to be coming home but I’m going to miss this beautiful Country!

Seven days of trekking through the Andes…and then this. ❤️🇵🇪

What an incredible way to finish one of the most inspiring adventures of my life!

After seven days on the Salkantay Trail, Mountain Lodges of Peru treated us to a night in a beautiful five-star hotel in Aguas Calientes and an incredible dinner at a Michelin-recognized restaurant — a little luxury that was very much appreciated after a week of hiking!

Early the next morning, we were up again to catch the bus to Machu Picchu, arriving at 7:00 a.m. We couldn’t have asked for better weather as we walked through the entrance and caught our first glimpse of this extraordinary place high in the Andes. It was one of those moments that truly takes your breath away.

Our wonderful guide, Joseph, spent the next few hours bringing Machu Picchu to life for us — explaining the remarkable architecture, history and way of life of the Inca people who lived here during the height of the Inca Empire in the 15th century. The ingenuity and craftsmanship are incredible, especially when you consider when and where it was built.

Standing at Machu Picchu after seven days of trekking made the experience even more meaningful. The mountains, the history, the people and everything I learned along the way have given me such a deeper appreciation for Peru and its incredible culture.

Was it worth the trek? Absolutely. ❤️

Peru, I would come back in a heartbeat. 🇵🇪

First day in Lima… and I think I’m already falling in love with Peru. 🇵🇪❤️

I started my morning with a long walk along the coast, taking in miles of breathtaking views of the Pacific. What a way to begin my first day!

In the afternoon, my wonderful guide Paulo introduced me to the heart and history of Lima — gorgeous historic buildings, the beautiful central square, the fascinating (and slightly eerie!) catacombs, and of course, my first Pisco Sour tasting. 🍹

We finished back in Miraflores, the vibrant neighbourhood I’m calling home while I’m here.

So much packed into one incredible day — history, scenery, culture, a lot of walking and a little Pisco Sour. 😉

Lima, you’ve made a pretty great first impression. 🇵🇪

Inventory tightened this August, and it's starting to shift the balance in the GTA market:

🏠 5,057 home sales — down 2.1% year-over-year
📋 12,075 new listings — down 14.1% year-over-year
💰 Average selling price: $993,410 — down 2.7% year-over-year
📉 MLS® HPI Composite benchmark down 4.5% year-over-year

With fewer homes coming to market and buyer competition creeping up in some neighbourhoods, price growth could pick back up in the months ahead.
