July 2026 stats for Niagara.
Niagara remained in balanced territory for the month of July with reduction in activity and pricing in major markets.
Average pricing was mostly flat for the region as a whole. This is attributed to the balance of some larger transactions in Pelham and an increase in sales for lower priced properties. Resulting is a small reduction (1.28%) versus June and increase (1.19%) versus July 2025.
Total sales down in most areas except NOTL and Thorold for a total of 622 for the month
Total sales for the year sitting at 3,624 total sales vs. 3,794 for the first half of 2025.
Available inventory remained at 3,727 available units, from 1,610 new listings.
With the summer underway, expect a slow down in activity heading into September.
Pelham was the winner in July with YoY and MoM jumpss in average pricing, on a small number of transactions.
July didn't manage to maintain the pace of June, how will August perform?
Properties are showing well, and inventory is strong with a good variety of homes to choose from.
