May 2026 stats for Niagara.

Solid increase in average pricing from April for the region, as a result of increase in the three cities.

Average pricing saw an increase of 7.1% versus April, to $678,578 for the Region as a whole, a 2.9% reduction from the same period in 2025.
Total sales up from April at 602 sales for the region.
Still lagging 2025, with 2,368 total sales vs. 2,523 in first five months.
Available inventory saw an increase to 3,464 available units.
Inventory and sales should continue increase through June.
NOTL had a strong month with solid increase in sales and pricing.

Nice weather will help boost activity. Property presentation remains important to stand out as inventory builds.

Solid increase in sales activity across the region, matching April 2025 pace.

Average pricing saw an increase of 2.8% versus March, to $635,148 for the Region as a whole, a 9.5% reduction from the same period in 2025.
Total sales up from March at 573 sales for the region.
Still lagging 2025, with 1,759 total sales vs. 1,881 in first four months of 2025.
Available inventory saw an increase to 3,174 available units.
Inventory should contine increase through coming months.
Pelham had a strong month with some larger sales helping push up pricing.

Government offering incentives on new home purchases will pressure resale product. Average pricing has been relatively steady since November, and rates also holding, should provide desired stability for buyers.

Steady increase in listings and sales across the Region in March.

Though many areas experienced gains;
Average pricing saw a small decrease of 1.18% versus February, to $617,853 for the Region as a whole, and 8.1% reduction from the same period in 2025.
Total sales up from February at 474 sales for the region.
Still lagging 2025, with 1,186 sales for the first 3 months.
Available inventory saw an increase to 2,810 available units.
Inventory should contine increase through coming months.
Tough month for Niagara Falls, but honourable mention to Welland with strong sales velocity and price increase.

Some global and weather uncertainties held off listings. April should see an increase in inventory, providing buyers with more options, that in turn should result in higher sales.

February 2026 stats for Niagara.

Steady increase in listings, sales and pricing across the Region
Average pricing saw a increase of 4.0% versus January, to $625,242 for the Region as a whole, and 9.0% reduction from the same period in 2025.
Total sales also up from January at 386 sales for the region.
Available inventory saw an increase to 2,690 available units.
Inventory should increase through early months.
Sales velocities in the higher pricepoints struggle in Pelham and NOTL, while Lincoln witnessed some larger deals.

Expectations are that many of the unsold properties will come back on market providing strong inventory through the Spring.
