We received an accepted offer within just a few days of hitting the market. While the home was conditionally sold, I recommended that we still proceed with our scheduled open house. I explained to my sellers that in today's market, anything can happen, financing can fall through, circumstances can change, and deals don't always make it to the finish line.
At that open house, I met a lovely family who instantly fell in love with the home. They asked why I was hosting an open house if the property was already conditionally sold. I simply shared the same advice I had given my sellers:
