Your REALTOR®️ should do more than smile.

Being nice is not enough when it comes to helping an older adult move.

There are at least half a dozen services working behind the scenes on a single down size, and that's before life throws a curveball with money or health.

My job is to coordinate all of it. Not just hand over keys and smile.

"I wouldn't even know where to start."

I hear that in almost every kitchen I sit in.

What most people don't expect is how quickly it moves once they do start. And how good they feel partway through. 😁

The stuff is surface level.

Underneath it is space, breathing room, and a clearer head for whatever comes next.

My mom never made it to 50, but I just did.❤️

Turning 50 was a number I honestly wasn't sure I'd see.

🌭Instead of letting the day slip by, I ended up on my back patio with a handful of people who have shown up for me for years, some BBQ, and way too many stories.

🤗Swipe through for what that night reminded me about what actually matters. Who would you want sitting on your patio for a night like that?

🐶 Gordie learned to play piano today!

🙄 I did not want the piano from the very first day our sellers asked me if she could leave it here, but I felt bad. They were moving across the country, and I could tell it was stressing them out.

🎵 I love music, but I only know how to play one song on the piano, and today, I passed that knowledge on to Gordie.

It's okay to donate and pass on items that we don't use.

🚫 There is no sense keeping it out of obligation or guilt.

If you're not using it and it is not enriching your life or serving your life in some way, time to let it go.

It's been five years.

I don't know any song except "Mary had a little lamb", so it's time to send this off to somebody who actually wants to use it.
