Join the Chautauqua Residents Association for a beautiful afternoon celebrating gardens, art, music, books, and community in one of Niagara-on-the-Lake’s most charming neighbourhoods.

Throughout the afternoon, visitors can explore a wonderful collection of private gardens and creative experiences across Chautauqua.

At 15 Shakespeare, enjoy a colourful medley of roses, peonies, daylilies, daisies, lavender, dahlias, hydrangeas, and hostas, with artist Abbylove Duclos on site.

Nearby, 44 Shakespeare offers a delightful perennial, herb, and vegetable back garden full of surprises, while 61 Shakespeare features a Japanese-inspired sanctuary with Californian influences, more than 30 varieties of Japanese maple, and an artist’s working studio with Troy Miller.

On Wyckliffe, visitors will find artist Paul Eppler in the driveway at 17A Wyckliffe, and a true plant-lover’s garden at 8 Wyckliffe, with pastel perennial borders, specimen decorative trees and shrubs, and a pond as the backyard focal point. Artists Marsha Howe and Robin Patterson will also be featured there.

At 13 Addison, irises abound, and this stop will also host the Plant and Bake Sale.

At 20 Oak Drive, perennials and largely native plants create a natural garden in keeping with the Chautauqua landscape, with weaving by artist Jo-Ann Fraser.
