Today, Niagara-on-the-Lake has:

- 95 Part IV designated properties
- 152 Part V designated properties
- 7 Part IV and Part V designated properties
- And 533 proposed Part V designated properties, of which 255 are contributing to the cultural heritage value or interest of the Old Town Heritage Conservation District!
