📊 Metro Vancouver Market Update – May 2026

The Metro Vancouver market remained steady in May, with overall home sales down 3.5% compared to last year, largely due to slower apartment sales.

🏡 Detached home sales actually increased slightly year-over-year, while townhouse sales held relatively steady.

Inventory remains healthy across all housing types, giving buyers more choice and helping keep prices relatively stable. Experts are forecasting a calm and balanced summer market ahead.

May Benchmark Prices:
• Detached: $1,847,900
• Townhouse: $1,048,200
• Apartment: $697,800
