Save more than $27,000 on the sale of a $3M home with Flatkey Realty Ltd.

What could a different listing-fee model mean on a $3,000,000 sale? In this illustrative example:

A prevalent commission structure of 7% on the first $100,000 + 2.5% on the balance results in total commission of $79,500 + GST.

Of that, we’ve assumed $36,570 + GST is offered to the buyer’s agent — based on 3.22% on the first $100,000 + 1.15% on the balance.

That leaves an illustrative listing-side portion of $42,930 + GST.

With FlatKey, the listing fee is $14,995 + GST. Assuming the same $36,570 co-op amount is offered to the buyer’s agent, the difference is approximately:

$27,935 + GST in listing-side commission.

Same co-op assumption. Full-service representation. One flat listing fee.
