GRANT STUART GARDINER

Grant has lived all his life on the North Shore and now lives in a heritage home on Ottawa Gardens. He started his Real Estate career in 1991 with Sussex Realty in North Vancouver and is now a realtor with Oakwyn Realty Ltd. Grant has a business background in sales that started in 1978 when he imported clocks from Korea, Japan and Germany and sold to jewelers and furniture s

tores across Canada. In the mid-80’s, Grant opened Lonsdale Clock and Gift- an antique clock shop at 5 Lonsdale, now home to Anatoli Souvlaki. Grant served as a Commissioner for the City of North Vancouver’s Advisory Planning Commission and as Chairman of the North Vancouver Heritage Advisory Commission for 16 years. He has received the “Heritage Awareness Achievement Award” by both the City and District of North Vancouver and is a board member and lifetime supporter of the North Shore Heritage Preservation Society. Grant has long been recognized as one of North Vancouver’s leading experts of heritage buildings and a keen advocate of their preservation. Grant has fun selling real estate and has good intuition when it comes to finding the right house for his clients. His sellers list with him because of his friendly reputation, professional market knowledge and consistent results in real estate sales. His approach with buyers is attentive, skillful and systematic, as can be affirmed by his past and present satisfied clients. Kyla was born and raised in North Vancouver and she lives in the heritage home she grew up in on Ottawa Gardens with her husband and two kids. Kyla has a Bachelor of Business & Aviation and joined her Dad, Grant Stuart Gardiner, in real estate in 2011 after 5 years as a commercial airline pilot. She has experience flying a Twin Otter on floats, a Metroliner and a Dash-8. After having her first child, Kyla decided it was safer to sell old homes than fly old planes! Kyla shares Grant’s passion for heritage homes and is the President of the North Shore Heritage Preservation Society. In addition to having an interest in local heritage, Kyla has had the opportunity to explore heritage sites around the world giving her a greater understanding of the cultural value that heritage buildings and their preservation bring to a community. Kyla loves real estate for the people she meets and the relationships she forms with her clients. Her background in aviation has provided her with a disciplined and diligent work ethic.
