Looking back at 2025 in the Vancouver real estate market, it’s fair to say it wasn’t a smooth ride. There were plenty of ups and, let’s be honest, a lot of downs. The market tested patience, pricing, and expectations on both sides of the table.

After years of extremes, 2025 became a more rational market. Buyers slowed down and asked better questions. Sellers had to be realistic. Homes that were well located, well priced, and well presented still sold, while anything even slightly optimistic sat and needed adjustments. Strategy mattered more than ever.

A lot of my time was spent helping clients interpret what was actually happening, not just what the headlines said. Knowing when to move, when to wait, and when to walk away made a real difference. Interest rates and affordability were always part of the conversation, but decisions were driven more by clarity than panic.

Despite the challenges, I’m proud of how the year finished. Through all the ups and downs, I ended 2025 once again as a Medallion Top 10% agent in Greater Vancouver. That comes down to trust, referrals, and clients who value honest advice in a complicated market.

Vancouver is never easy, but it rewards preparation and perspective. 2025 was a reminder that steady, thoughtful real estate still works here.
