Food trucks are coming to Toronto parks this summer — and your neighbourhood could be on the list.

Starting June 25, 2026, the City of Toronto is launching a new pilot program that brings screened, licensed mobile food vendors into select parks through approximately October 12.

This isn't a random pop-up. Every vendor must pass:

🍽️ DineSafe health inspections
🗑️ Waste management standards
📋 Full City licensing requirements

Depending on the park, that might mean one food truck tucked into a quieter green space, or a small cluster of carts in a larger destination park.

The program is led by Toronto Parks, Forestry and Recreation — so expect it to be organized, well-managed, and family-friendly. No alcohol sales are part of this program.
