🚫 MYTH: “It’s fine if one Realtor represents both the buyer and seller—I’ll still get the same level of service.”
✅ FACT: When the same brokerage (or agent) represents both parties, they can no longer give advice on price, offer strategy, or negotiation terms.
This means you lose one of the most important parts of working with a Realtor: someone fully advocating for you.

And here's something many don’t realize:
🚫 It is illegal for a Realtor to offer multiple representation if one of the parties is an immediate family member (like a parent, spouse, sibling or child). In that case, it’s a clear conflict of interest.

💡 Full representation = full protection. Don’t be afraid to ask your Realtor how they handle these situations and what your options are.
