A few years ago, this family of five made a big move from out of province and chose our community to call home. They went on to build an absolutely beautiful home here, with so much thought and attention to detail in every corner.

They are incredibly detail-oriented people, and it showed everywhere — from the design and finishes to the way they cared for their home. Well, this was a nice surprise! ❤️ I made the Top Producer group again for August!

And honestly, August was a MONTH. 😂 I was out of province for a good portion of it, came home sick, and then somehow packed what felt like 3 month’s worth of real estate into two absolutely insane weeks.

But what a great month it was.

I was so blessed to spend time in Alberta with two extraordinarily dear friends, my wonderful sister, my beautiful niece and my two nephews, who we absolutely adore. And I got to take a road trip with my mom and her twin sister — something I’m very grateful we were able to do together. ❤️

I finally saw Drumheller for the first time! The dinosaur fossils were fascinating, but I think what impressed me most was the landscape — all those incredible layers and colours in the rock and sediment. We saw the hoodoos, travelled through beautiful Maple Creek, Saskatchewan, and took the scenic route through the Cypress Hills on our way home.

The weather was cool and rainy and we probably broke every good motorhome rule there is — “drive no more than three hours, arrive by three and stay three nights” definitely did NOT happen. 😂 It was a bit of a hustle, but it was still a wonderful trip.

Then I came home (sick as a dog) and real estate exploded! Listings were ready, buyers were buying, sellers were selling, and somehow all the timing came together.

So seeing my name in the Top Producer group for August feels especially nice.

This one feels extra special.

These wonderful longtime clients bought this property as their starter acreage, and over the years I’ve had the privilege of watching their life grow here — from celebrating their wedding to welcoming two beautiful children into their family.

PRIVATE WELL WATER TESTING- subsidy program! Thinking of selling let’s get ready!

The Province of Manitoba is currently offering a subsidized bacteria testing program for private wells and cisterns through Duracan Laboratory in Winnipeg.

Residents can pick up Duracan sample bottles at the RM of Springfield Administration Office (100 Springfield Centre Drive, Oakbank) or the Water and Waste Department (Public Works Building, 27055 Oakwood Road, Oakbank).

Please use only the Duracan bottles provided, as samples submitted in incorrect containers may be rejected.

The subsidized test is available once per year for private water system owners and tests for total coliform and E. coli. The cost to homeowners is $17.67, including taxes.

Samples must be collected by the resident and delivered to Duracan Laboratory within 30 hours of collection. Results will be provided directly to the resident by Duracan based on the contact information submitted on the chain of custody form.

If bacteria are detected, Duracan will provide follow-up instructions and a coupon for one free re-test after mitigation steps, such as shocking the well, have been completed.
