What can I say about this one that isn’t obvious?!

Well I can say that we had 65 showings and multiple offers and SOLD FIRM on offer night.

The perfect timing, fantastic staging and a great location made this a winner and home for buyers that have been in the market for months. Well they came to win and win they did.

So did my clients! Congratulations to them on the sale of their home. They got everything they wanted and I couldn’t be happier for them.

Okay so the late 80s would have been the most fantastic time to have picked up some real estate at the bottom of the curve but most of us were either too young or not even born yet.

Every time prices peak you hear the wishful thinkers proclaiming the market is going to crash!

Well it isn’t and if you buy and hold you’ll always recover.

There’s no doubt the market had a really shocking start to this year. It’s been the craziest I’ve ever seen it.

There has been a stabilization that’s taken place for sure but the gains are still astronomical compared to last year.

Demand is still strong and the pre construction market still has many investors trying to race to the front of the line.

Some people think it’s too late.

I think it’s never too late.

Find a way.

Make it happen.

Growth.

It takes time.

It’s not easy and you have to do your part.

The timeline is unique to the individual and to the goal.

It requires patience, perseverance and doing things differently.

Same actions produce the same results.

Your growth won’t look like someone else’s so don’t look out there for the answer.

Look within.

Surround yourself with a village of people who help you see where you want to grow.

It’s about the big picture and the slow burn.

I spent this morning on the phone with a lead that had registered on my site back in February.

I’d never been able to get her on the phone until today.

I get it’s annoying to get calls from people you don’t know!

I get it’s hard to trust someone you’ve never met!

I also get that I am just one out of tens of thousands (and growing) real estate professionals vying for your business.

But you just never know until you pick up that phone how I can help.

I had the opportunity to speak to a lovely lady this morning. She’s been in her home over 30 years. Both her and her husband are retired and the house is just too much for her. She’s ready!

I spent maybe 10 minutes speaking to her and it was clear that her husband isn’t ready. It’s not about the house it’s about the kids they’ve raised and the lifetime of memories they’ve made in that home. It’s not an easy transition to make in life. As a parent looking down the road it feels a little sad to be honest.

I gave her some quick suggestions to help her downsize as they have ‘just too much stuff’ to scale down. Some reputable auction sites to sell stuff and donation sites that will pick up donations from their doorstep at no cost to them. She sounded relieved and hopeful of her next steps.

In this crazy world of course we’re all trying to build our businesses but ultimately it’s all about helping people.

I don’t know if this family will choose me to help them transition to their next chapter or not but it sure felt good to give her some guidance on her next steps.
