Every Wednesday, I’m featuring one of my favourite patio spots in Burlington or Oakville - because finding the right home is one thing… but loving the life around it? That’s the best part.

This week: The Port House Social Bar + Kitchen in downtown Burlington.

Steps from the waterfront, this is one of those spots that makes you want to linger a little longer - whether you’re meeting friends after a walk around Spencer Smith Park, planning a patio lunch, or settling in for a relaxed summer dinner.

Bonus: Wednesdays are a great excuse to go, with their Margherita pizza special on the menu and $6 wine.

Today feels like a perfect reminder of how lucky we are to call this country home - especially in communities like Oakville, Burlington, and Toronto, where summer is made for patios, parks, lake days, neighbourhood celebrations, and spending time with the people we love.
