It is sad that we need this type of help, but it is a reality in today's society, and as long as the need exists, I will continue to send a portion of every commission I earn to the Shelter Foundation.

Classic Albums Live knocked it out of the park once again. This time it was performing the amazing Crime of the Century album by Supertramp in the first set, and some phenomenal tunes from other Supertramp albums in the second. So good! And the evening started with a delicious meal at one of our fave restaurants, Paradiso. Yummy!

Today is the one year anniversary of my hip replacement. Not an iota of pain or discomfort. A big shout out to Dr. Paul Zalzal and the team at OTMH for a job well done! The significance of the pictures is that 8 days after the surgery, Irene and I were able to get to the Oakville Centre for a concert.

In honour of Sir Paul McCartney's 82nd birthday, Christopher Clause will be performing a selection of music from Paul's solo career, as well as some Wings tunes and even some songs from a band that you may have heard about called The Beatles!! I hope you can join us this Friday at 7 pm at 340 Rebecca Street for this wonderful concert. Light refreshments will be served following the show. $10 tickets available at the door. All proceeds will go to the Halton Women's Place.
