August brought a slower end-of-summer market across Oakville, Mississauga and Burlington, with buyers having more time and more negotiating room in many situations.

Here’s a look at the numbers:

Average Price: $1,324,472
203 homes sold
421 new listings
39 days on market

📍 Mississauga
Average Price: $898,510
435 homes sold
1,122 new listings
36 days on market

📍 Burlington
Average Price: $1,020,937
193 homes sold
373 new listings
38 days on market

As we head into the fall market, these numbers are a good reminder that real estate is local. What’s happening in one city, neighbourhood, or even on one street can be very different from another.

If I was a Realtor in the ’80s… 😂🏡

The hair would be BIG.
The shoulder pads would be BIGGER.
And I’d be showing houses with a paper map, a landline and absolutely NO Google Maps. 😂

Want to see a listing? I’d probably have to drive over, pick you up and hand you a printed sheet fresh off the fax machine.

No virtual tours.
No Instagram Reels.
No texting “I’m outside!”
And definitely no electronic signatures.

Just me, my hairspray, my Rolodex and a set of house keys. 🔑😂

But one thing wouldn’t change… helping people find the right place to call home. ❤️

Apparently, the things I love are… kinda chic. 😉

Helping people find a place that feels like home.
Raising two boys who grew into men I genuinely love spending time with.
Chasing a little white ball around a golf course. ⛳
Summer days at the lake.
And still getting excited about a night cheering on the Jays. ⚾💙

Real estate is a big part of my life, but it’s definitely not the whole story.

Family, friends, golf, cottage days, baseball, beautiful homes… these are the things that fill my cup.

And I’d say building a life filled with the people and things you love?

That’s kinda chic too. 💙

🏡 SOLD — and what a result!

6298 Starfield Crescent in Meadowvale sold well over asking in less than ONE WEEK — with 7 offers! 🎉

This was such a lovely semi, and we put in the work before it hit the market. I encouraged my sellers to purge, we staged the home, and made sure it showed at its absolute best.

Was it worth the effort? Absolutely.

Now my sellers are thrilled, SOLD, and ready to move on to their next chapter. ❤️
