They provide single-parent families experiencing homelessness in Halton with housing stabilization, education, and wrap-around case management to help them build permanent financial independence.

It takes a complete network of support to permanently break the cycle of poverty.

signature annual fundraiser, Empty Bowls is on November 8th at Appleby College in Oakville. Now in it's 18th year, this community-loved event is a fun way to get involved for the whole family.

What a way to end off our trip!

Mont Ventoux, otherwise known as The Giant of Provence, is one of France’s most storied climbs.

Renowned for its stark moonscape summit and relentless winds, it has been featured 19 times in the Tour de France bike race, most recently in the 2025 race.

It's a beast of a climb at 21.3 km, averaging over 8% with a large portion over 10% that tests even the best cyclists.

My buddy Andrew and I recently made a full day of it, first from the Bédoin side, and then from the slightly easier Sault side.

Many calories were burned, and a few expletives muttered, but what a day with memories that will last forever!
