Have you ever experienced how wonderful Ruth Lake is? Nooks and crannies, twists and turns, mountains and trees. And the most beautiful, clear warm(ish- let’s be honest, this is still the Cariboo) water. Ideal for swimming. Ideal for exploring. I. Am. In. Love. Let me float in a canoe on this lake until the end of time.⁣

And if you’ve ever visited Ruth Lake, you’ve probably driven right by this cabin- and I bet you noticed it too. It’s an iconic piece of history here at the lake- the first to be built, right in its own beautiful bay. Stepping through the door feels like stepping back in time, like things just slow down automatically.⁣

I’ve been told countless stories about the joy this place has brought to its family over the years. I can almost hear the screen door slamming as the kids run down to the water, squealing and laughing. BBQ’s on the deck as the sun gets low. Music drifting from somewhere inside. ⁣
