Consistency gets easier when you stop relying on yourself to be consistent.

We seem to assume that getting better results means putting in more effort.

I know I was guilty of this. 🙋🏻‍♀️

Work harder. Stay disciplined. Be more motivated.

But personal effort has limits.

Processes scale. Willpower doesn’t.

In business, imagine you personally follow up with every new lead.

You have a great week and follow up with everyone.

Then things get busy. 🌪️

A few leads sit unanswered.

Opportunities slip through the cracks.

Instead, you build a process:

New inquiry → automatically logged → follow-up scheduled → reminder triggered → next action assigned.

The result no longer depends entirely on you remembering to do it.

The same principle applies personally.

Let’s use going to the gym. 🏋🏻‍♀️

If your plan is “I’ll work out when I have time and feel motivated,” every workout requires a new decision.

Instead:

Monday, Wednesday, Friday → 7 AM → gym clothes ready the night before → workout already planned.

You’ve reduced the number of decisions required to get the result.

That’s the power of process.

In business, it creates capacity to grow.

In your personal life, it creates consistency.

The question isn’t always:

“How can I try harder?”

Sometimes the better question is:

“What process can I build so this happens more reliably?”

One of the biggest mistakes I made when I hired my first assistant was thinking I had to delegate everything.

I’d hear things like, “That’s an admin task. You shouldn’t be doing that.”

So I listened.

The problem? Some of those “admin tasks” were the parts of my business I genuinely loved.

I enjoyed organizing.
I enjoyed creating.
I liked building systems.
I loved creating processes.

Before I knew it, I had delegated the work that energized me and kept the work I dreaded.

That’s when it clicked.

Delegation isn’t about getting everything off your plate.

It’s about intentionally choosing what stays and what goes.

If a task plays to your strengths and you enjoy it, keep it.

If it makes you procrastinate, drains your energy, or you find yourself thinking, “Ugh... not this again.”

Byeeee. ✌🏼

We don’t believe in cookie cutter systems because no two entrepreneurs are the same.

The best systems aren’t built around someone else’s rules. They’re built around your strengths, your goals, and the way you work best.

What task are you never delegating... and what’s the first thing you’d happily say “byeeee” to?

The Bank of Canada held interest rates today, and while that doesn’t mean mortgage payments are dropping overnight, it is good news for Ontario’s real estate market.

The biggest takeaway? Confidence.

For buyers, stable rates mean more certainty. Many who have been waiting may decide now is the time to make a move.

For sellers, this could lead to more buyer activity, more showings, and more offers as confidence returns to the market.

If you’ve been waiting to see what the Bank would do before making your next move, this announcement may be the reassurance you’ve been looking for.

Next announcement is September 2.

Have questions about what this means for your buying or selling plans? Send me a message we’re always happy to help.
