🚨🚨 The Ottawa Real Estate Board sold 1,390 residential properties in February 2021, an increase of 23 per cent compared to February 2020. House 🏠🏚🏡🏘

Residential homes are experiencing the quickest turnaround, however the condo market has stabilized and is starting to rebound with a 19% increase in transactions compared to last year at this time.

The average sale price for condominium-class property in February 2021 was $407,671, while the average sale price of a residential-class property was $717,914. ❗❗❗

🚨🚨The Ottawa Real Estate Board sold 964 residential properties in January, an increase of 24 per cent from January 2020. 🏡

Despite a rise in inventory from last month, inventory is down ⬇️ substantially from this time last year with a 43 per cent decrease in properties on the market.

🏢 The average sale price for a condominium-class property in January was $380,336, an increase ⬆️ of 13 per cent from last year, and for residential-class property the average sale price was $677,197, an increase of 31 per cent from 2020.

The overall momentum throughout December 2020 remained strong for the Ottawa Real Estate Board. 1,002 residential properties were sold in December, up 32.4 per cent from December 2019.

Residential property class unit sales increased by 3 per cent in December, while sales for the condominium property class decreased slightly by 1.5 per cent.
