Nutrition.
Most people hear that wordโฆ and immediately lose interest.
So if youโve made it this far โ I respect it.
Because the truth isโฆ
Food is one of the best parts of life.
Food. Drinks. Conversation. Music.
Those are the moments we remember.
Not because of the food itselfโฆ
but because of what happens around it.
Connection. Stories. Laughter. Presence.
Thatโs what makes it meaningful.
Because food was never just about calories.
It carries flavor, texture, aroma, tradition, and history.
Food is culture.
And some of the best conversations Iโve ever hadโฆ
happened across a table.

When I decided to take my health seriously, nutrition was the hardest part.
Not because I didnโt understand itโฆ
But because I love food.
I love trying dishes from all over the world.
So being disciplined through the weekโฆ
and not eating whatever I wantedโฆ
felt like I was giving something up.
I didnโt want to stop being โa food guy.โ
๐ข๐ก๐ ๐ ๐๐๐. ๐๐ก๐ฌ๐ง๐๐๐ก๐.
My coach gave me one cheat meal a week.
Not a cheat day. One meal. Thatโs it.
And Iโll be honestโฆ
there were weeks I stared at that one meal thinking:
โDonโt mess this up.โ
Because when you only get one shotโฆ
you realize how easy it is to waste it on something average.
A quick burger. Fries. Done.
No experience. No memory. Just gone.
So I changed the game.
๐ง๐๐ ๐๐๐๐๐ง ๐ ๐๐๐ ๐๐๐ง ๐ฉ
I wrote down countries whose food I love.
Italy. Mexico. Thailand. Jamaica. India. Greece.
I cut them up like little slips and threw them into a hat.
Each week, I reach in and pull one out.
Boom. ๐ฅ
This week Iโm going to the Caribbean.
Not physicallyโฆ
But Iโll find a Caribbean restaurant or cook something myself.
Play the music. Set the vibe. Invite people over.
And just like thatโฆ
a cheat meal becomes a mini-experience.
It also works great with family.
Everyone can add countries to the hat.
Kids love pulling one out.
And suddenly dinner isnโt just foodโฆ
itโs something you experience together.
As Marty said in Back to the Futureโฆ
โYour kids are gonna love it.โ

You donโt even need to leave your city.
If youโre in the Greater Toronto Areaโฆ
you already have the world around you.
Greek Town. Little Italy. China Town.
Walk the streets. Eat authentic food. Talk to the people.
Half the timeโฆ
youโd swear you were in another country.
Food connects people.
๐ฆ๐ข๐ ๐๐ง๐๐๐ก๐ ๐ฆ๐๐๐๐ง๐๐
Instead of feeling restrictedโฆ
I started looking forward to it even more.
Because now I wasnโt just eating.
I was experiencing.
I didnโt stop being โa food guyโโฆ
I just became intentional about it.
And that made staying disciplined during the week easier โ not harder.
๐ง๐๐ ๐ง๐ฅ๐จ๐ง๐ โ๏ธ
Sometimes discipline doesnโt take things awayโฆ
it makes them better.
Because when you choose something intentionallyโฆ
you experience it more fully.
Food becomes more than food.
It becomes something you remember.
Sometimes the best journeys donโt start with a plane ticket.
They start at a dinner table.
๐ฆ๐ข ๐๐๐ฅ๐โ๐ฆ ๐ง๐๐ ๐พ๐๐ฒ๐๐๐ถ๐ผ๐ป:
If you could pull one country out of the hat this weekโฆ
where would your dinner take you โ
and who would you sit across from while you discovered it? ๐
