As a real estate broker, I’ve actually had the opportunity to work with a property where the neighbours had a pond fully built and paid for through this organization to help support migratory waterfowl.
It was absolutely incredible. The pond quickly became a little wildlife haven — ducks, frogs, turtles and so much more. It was honestly one of the coolest features of the property and such a great example of how conservation can benefit both the land and the wildlife that depends on it.
