It's time to celebrate the first few days back at school with our annual Heron Gate Back To School event!

Come out to the visitor parking between 2850 and 2870 Cedarwood Drive TODAY at 3:30pm for a few free school supplies and ice cream! We'll be there until 5:30pm or until supplies last!

Heron Gate Summer Fun Weekend is back for another year! 🎉

Join us THIS FRIDAY at 7pm in Sandalwood Park for the Heron Gate Youth Film Festival! 🎬 Show us your moves with , grab some free popcorn, and settle in for a night of films created by Heron Gate youth and watch The Wild Robot after the sun goes down!

Then, make sure to get a great sleep because Saturday is SUMMER FUN DAY! 🌞 Starting at 12 pm in Sandalwood Park, we'll have a free BBQ, bouncy castles, games, a petting zoo, Samosa Fest, a dunk tank, a giant bubble party AND SO MUCH MORE!

Have a dog 🐕 or a cat 🐈 who could use a pampering? This year, we're introducing FREE pet grooming, so make sure to bring your furry friends along (but please make sure they're leashed!) and we'll be taking appointments during Fun Day!

We can't wait to see you this weekend!

We are excited to be hosting a FREE Film-Making Camp for youth age 8+ living in Heron Gate! 🎥

In partnership with and .youth, the Film-Making Camp will run from Monday, July 28 to Friday, August 1, from 10am - 4pm in the Heron Gate Community Hub at 2850 Cedarwood Drive.

Youth will create a video from start to finish with support from expert film-makers. Their finished films will be entered into the Heron Gate Youth Film Festival for a chance to win $500!

Free lunches will be provided daily for youth.

After a long, snowy Winter, it's time to get those creative juices flowing, and bring back some seasonal colour!

It's your LAST CHANCE to sign up for the FREE Income Tax in Heron Gate! Many of the free tax clinics across the city are full, but we still have appointments available.

The Heron Gate Tax Clinic runs TOMORROW from 10am - 2pm. If you have a simple tax situation, volunteers from the South-East Ottawa Community Health Centre will be on site to help you complete your taxes.
