The Spring market has officially arrived in Ottawa!

While March 2026 started with a slow burn, the second half of the month saw a massive surge in activity. Overall, sales jumped 38% from February as buyers took advantage of the warmer weather and headed back into the market.

The Highlights:

Momentum: While overall city sales are slightly down (5%) compared to last year, our team at Engel & Völkers has seen a significant spike in activity over the last two weeks.

Inventory: We have a strong pipeline of fresh listings ready to hit the market right after Easter.

Big News: Federal and Provincial governments just dropped major financial incentives for new home buyers—some worth six figures! 💰
