We recently had the pleasure of bringing our SGC Leadership and Morley Hoppner team together at the 1818 Farm & Cidery for our annual Town Hall and to celebrate a significant milestone—SGC’s 30-year anniversary.

The event provided an opportunity to connect, reflect on our accomplishments, and look ahead to the future. Under the theme 𝗕𝘂𝗶𝗹𝘁 𝗧𝗼𝗴𝗲𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿. 𝗣𝗼𝘄𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗱 𝗙𝗼𝗿𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗱., we celebrated the people, partnerships, and shared commitment that have contributed so much to our success over the past three decades.

The Town Hall included updates on our safety performance, projects, strategic priorities, employee ownership, and our vision for continued growth. Most importantly, it was a chance to recognize the dedication and hard work of our employees who help drive our success every day.

Thank you to everyone who attended and contributed to making the event such a success. Here's to the next chapter and the opportunities ahead.

Congratulations to Roger Neilson Children's Hospice on 20 years of providing compassionate care and support to children and families in the Ottawa community.

We are proud to have been part of the creation of Roger Neilson Children’s Hospice and to continue supporting this incredible organization annually.

This milestone is a reflection of the dedication of the staff, donors, volunteers, and supporters who have made such a meaningful impact over the past two decades.

We’re proud to have participated in ArchiBâti 2026 and support the next generation of architecture and design professionals.

Jasmin Brisson represented Morley Hoppner at the event, where he presented the Graphic Quality and Visual Communication Award – Ex*****on Drawing Course to students Duplex Ouamba Tiobo and Siham Loudghiri from La Cité.

Sponsored by MHI, the award recognizes excellence in the clarity, precision, and effectiveness of architectural presentation documents, including plans, sections, details, and renderings.

As a graduate of La Cité’s Architectural Technology program himself, Jasmin brought a personal connection to the program and played important role in supporting MHI’s involvement this year.

Today, April 28 marks the National Day of Mourning —a time to reflect on the workers who have been lost, injured, or affected by workplace incidents.

At Morley Hoppner, we hold these families close in our hearts. Safety isn’t just something we practice — it’s something we truly care about. It’s a reminder that the work we do matters—not just in what we build, but in how we look out for one another every day.

As part of this community, we believe that protecting each other is a shared responsibility. Today, and every day, we stand by our commitment: Everyone Gets Home Safe.

It was a pleasure to take part in the 2026 OCA Symposium and Tradeshow this year!

The event was a great opportunity to connect with industry peers, partners, and clients, and to be part of the conversations shaping our construction industry. Events like this are always such a welcome reminder of the collaboration that drives so much of what we do every day.
