Some experiences stay with you, and this has certainly been one of them for us at The Vista On Sparks.

Earlier this week, we were honoured to welcome Meg French, Executive Director of The Stephen Lewis Foundation, her team and members of the Grandmothers to Grandmothers Campaign for dinner at Gatsview Pub and Lounge. Then last night, we attended the Grandmothers to Grandmothers Marketplace at Library and Archives Canada. Seeing the 20th Anniversary Solidarity Quilt in person and connecting with so many extraordinary women was deeply moving. Even more special was sharing the experience with Monique, one of our residents.

We are grateful to the Stephen Lewis Foundation, One World Grannies and Grandmothers to Grandmothers for welcoming us so warmly. Seeing The Vista On Sparks banner in a room filled with stories, creativity and solidarity was a beautiful reminder of the importance of showing up and being part of something bigger than ourselves💜
