Some moments remind us just how powerful community can be.
Veterans' House Canada, the Andy Carswell Building, welcomed H.E. Mr. Darm Boontham, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Thailand to Canada, his spouse, and the dedicated team from the Royal Thai Embassy in Ottawa.

In celebration of His Majesty the King of Thailand's Birthday Anniversary, the Embassy chose to give back through service, preparing and sharing a delicious, authentic Thai lunch with our residents, donating essential household items, and spending meaningful time with the veterans who call our House home.

From fresh shrimp Pad Thai, vegetarian Pad Thai, Som Tum, traditional Thai desserts, and generous gifts, every gesture reflected kindness, respect, and community.

We are deeply grateful to the Royal Thai Embassy, the Thai Dance Troupe of Ottawa, and the Thai community for their generosity and for choosing to honour this special occasion by supporting Canada's Veterans.

What does it actually take to support our veteran community?
Exceptional support from everyone❤️

As we head into the August long weekend, we're grateful to welcome Riders for Veterans (R4V) back to the Andy Carswell Building with another generous food donation.

Mike and Wanda made the trip from Cornwall to ensure our freezer remains well stocked, helping provide nutritious meals for the veterans who call Veterans' House Canada home.

To the entire Riders for Veterans team, and especially Mike and Wanda, thank you for your unwavering dedication, generosity, and commitment. Your continued support makes a meaningful difference in the lives of the veterans we serve.

Great things are brewing in Ottawa.💯

We're excited to announce a new partnership between Broken Stick Brewing Company and Veterans' House Canada. Our first collaboration is launching with a summer-edition drink to compete with your favourite beverage.

To mark the occasion, we're rolling out a short pre-launch series featuring the people behind the partnership: Aaron Markel, who helped bring this collaboration to life, and Alan Mulawyshyn, sharing why finding new, creative ways to raise awareness for Veterans experiencing homelessness matters now more than ever.
