I read announcements for two projects in Barrhaven. The new federal government lab will create well paying jobs which will lead to population growth which will lead to more tenants who need places to live (see REINs Lang Term Real Estate Success Formula).

Also, the provincial government is spending money to build an offramp at Highway 416 and Barnsdale Rd. Not sure why it costs $80,000,000 to build an offramp though.

This listing was a whirlwind of activity with 20 showings and multiple offers.

The home needs work but the landlord agreed with my advice to forego repairs and renovations and list it "as is" because he wouldn't have made his money back. Home prices in that Kanata enclave are dropping and he made the right choice!

Aging and being able to run, lift weights, and compete in Hyrox races is a darn privilege. I'm so grateful for it.

At the same time, I accept that aging has changed my body, both inside and out (especially over the past 24 months). At 59 I'm not old, but there are more wrinkles than there used to be, and somewhere along the way I inherited my dad's eye bags. Eh bien!

I may never again complete workouts with the same speed, intensity, or stamina I once had. But I refuse to let the doubt or uncertainty that comes with getting older keep me from discovering what I'm still capable of.
