We love our Habitat for Humanity Greater Ottawa Build Days at CBP!

We were honoured to be the first volunteer group on site at the new Nantes development, where homes are being built for two deserving families.

It was such a feeling of accomplishment to complete a shade structure that will support volunteers working on site for the next two years. And yes, everyone will know it was built by Colonnade BridgePort thanks to the plaque proudly screwed into the ceiling.

Thank you to the Habitat team who kept us busy with tasks and snacks; and to the CBP team who participated - Gina, Jade, Jacen, Lorna, Vanessa, Ewin, Mamika, Angelo, Rachal, Heather, Kyle, and Sue.

Any day spent rolling up our sleeves, learning a few new skills, and helping create something meaningful for families in our community is a very good day in our books.

Last week for Earth Day, an awesome group of CBP employees picked up garbage at a park near our head of as part of the City of Ottawa's Cleaning the Capital inititative.

Thanks to Kerrie, Bill, Brenda, Jacen, Gina, Kim, Vanessa, Lynn, Stephano, and Gale, for taking the time to clean up local greenspace!

This Earth Day, Colonnade BridgePort is proud to be taking small, meaningful steps toward a more sustainable future.

We’re marking the day in a few different ways:

• Rolling up our sleeves to help clean up a local park as part of the City of Ottawa Cleaning the Capital initiative

• Providing a little green-thumb inspiration by giving employees vegetable seeds to start their own gardens at home

• Supporting conservation efforts through a donation to the Canadian Wildlife Federation

Sustainability isn’t defined by a single action, but by the choices we make every day. We’re proud to contribute in ways that support our communities, our environment, and the places we call home.

Let the digging begin!

Excavation is officially underway at 700 and 720 Bannermount Avenue, the future home of Connex and Linq.

Rising 28 and 14 storeys, and designed to meet LEED Silver standards, the two purpose-built rental towers will deliver 498 units, ground-floor retail, and thoughtful amenities and greenspaces.

Connex and Linq are Phase I of Junction Central, a five-building mixed-use community that will transform a 4.9-acre underutilized site in Ottawa’s Alta Vista Ward into a connected, transit-oriented hub. The site is located next to Ottawa’s main train station, steps from Tremblay LRT Station, just off of Highway 417, and adjacent to the Capital Pathway network comprised of over 200 km of routes stretching from Gatineau Park, through downtown and into the Greenbelt.

Phase I is being led by CBP Development in partnership with Fiera Real Estate.

Occupancy at Linq and Connex is targeted for December 2027.
