How do I even begin to describe this moment?
The sunrise straight from God 🌅
The way this was all kept a total surprise
The butterflies flown in from Milan 🦋
That ring 💍
This man on one knee in front of me 😍
The surprise breakfast with rose petals everywhere……
So here’s the thing:
Scott & I are content creators, and work with businesses all over the world to help promote their resort, product, experiences
So when I was told that we have a collaboration with a “sunrise breakfast company” to help promote their business in Italy, this was very very common for me.
I was in character, knew the poses to do for the photographer, and was focused on helping them.
No part of me suspected a single thing. Like, at all.
I get it that most girls would be highly suspect of a breakfast table by the sea at sunrise with professional photographers, rose petals & butterflies lol. Not me!
So when I was told to go release the butterflies toward the sun, I stayed in position, knowing the “breakfast table business” would really appreciate this shot 😂
NO CLUE THAT THE MAN OF MY DREAMS WAS BEHIND ME ON ONE KNEE🥹🥹🥹🥹🥹
So when I was told to turn around, I saw him but it didn’t register. For like a solid minute.
Was this part of their photoshoot? No way this was for me!
and then it hit…..
The butterflies didn’t leave. They kept flying around us for this incredible, deeply surreal moment.
I collected myself, said YES and began to realize what had happened.
It’s not about the ring.
It’s not about the proposal.
It’s not about the sunrise.
The utter joy I have in my bones is knowing I get this beautiful man, my undeniable soulmate, for the rest of my life. 🫶🥹
Scott, you pulled off a moment that is imprinted in my heart forever ❤️
You asked my father’s permission 🥹
You asked my son’s permission 🥹
And with some help of some pretty special people in Puglia Italy, and our God, this was every girl’s dream moment come true ~ and I thank you from the bottom of my soul 🙏❤️
