Almost 1,000 ducks sold in 3 days!
Over 30% of DuckFest 2026 race ducks are already adopted.
And thanks to the incredible support from the City of Brantford, the Downtown Brantford BIA is excited to share that thousands of ducks will launch from the centre of the Lorne Bridge this July!

The response has been incredible.
What excites us even more than the number of ducks sold is what weโve been able to build together.
Itโs community.
Itโs collaboration.
Itโs local organizations, businesses, volunteers, sponsors, and residents coming together to create something positive for Brantford.

For the first time since 2002, thousands of bright yellow rubber ducks will swim the river, this year they will launch from the centre of the Lorne Bridge, nearly 100 feet above the Grand River, before racing downstream through Downtown Brantford all the way past the TH&B Rail Bridge.
Just picture that for a moment.
Thousands of ducks.
Families gathering at Brants Crossing Park.
People cheering on their ducks.
Live music filling the air.
An entire community coming together for something fun.
Itโs going to be one of the most unique sights Brantford has seen in decades.

And while the ducks will be the stars of the show, DuckFest 2026 presented by Downtown Brantford BIA is about so much more.
Itโs about creating joy.
Supporting local businesses.
Bringing people downtown.
Making memories.
And raising funds for the incredible work being done by Woodview Mental Health & Autism Services.
