Our people at Pemberton Holmes in Parksville were helping Parksville Downtown Business Assoc hosts a special Cinco de Mayo event, today. We had natchos, children making piñatas, Salsa dancing and a taco eating contest. I had a great time with Ember, Joyce and Susan. Fun was had by all.

This was a win win....we won first prize for our Christmas tree display at the 1st annual Parksville Community Centre's Festival of Trees. Our tree had an 1887 theme to match the year Pemberton Holmes was established. The tree that collected the most amount which was donated food by the public, won first prize. The food was then given to the Salvation Army...we all won!
