Maybe contractors don't need another app.

They may need a background app. This issue has been on my mind while building Ghost Engine. I've learned over decades in business and the trades that the most expensive work isn't often visible. Sometimes it's your 10 PM estimate.

It seems the change order was not billed. Nobody paid for the drive hour. You can't recall the details from yesterday. That's shift 2. I think contractor software will eliminate admin work and deliver more precise data.

One Truck Contractor System That Actually Work
One-truck contractor systems are not a luxury if your firm operates on one vehicle, one pair of hands, and one phone that never stops vibrating. They are the difference between finishing the day with money left over on the task and finding out at 9:30 p.m. that you forgot to send the estimate, missed a material cost, and handed away half your margin for nothing.

That's the true challenge in a one-vehicle enterprise. Usually the problem is not a lack of competence.
