Whistler and Pemberton properties will be excluded from Canada’s Foreign Buyer Ban ⁠

On January 1, 2023, the Government of Canada will be instituting a two-year ban preventing non-Canadians and corporations controlled by non-Canadians from purchasing residential property in Canada, with some noted exceptions. Based on the regulation, all properties in Whistler and Pemberton will be excluded from the ban and non-Canadians can continue to purchase. We are happy to share our markets will still be open to investment despite the ban. ⁠
