12. They're more likely to recognize red flags. Experience develops instincts that are difficult to acquire without handling many transactions.

13. They know how to handle deals that start falling apart. Getting an accepted offer is one thing. Keeping a complicated transaction together can be another.

14. They understand buyer psychology. On the listing side, experience helps with positioning, presentation, pricing and responding strategically when a property isn't selling.
