5 STEPS TO HIRING THE RIGHT HOME INSPECTOR:

Step 1 - Do your research - look online, google them, read their reviews. Look at their social media accounts and see where the specialize.

Step 2 - Ensure they are well trained - Do they have their proper permits and license? Are they licensed in the province you are having the inspection done? Do they have any special certifications?

Step 3 - Find an inspector that is familiar with the type of property you want inspected - Make sure you are getting the right inspector for the job.

Step 4 - Ask questions - How much experience do they have? How long have they been in the business? Do they carry valid liability insurance? You want to make sure you are comfortable with the person you will be working with.

Step 5 - Ask about pricing and what is included - How much is their rate? Do they provide a written report? Do they provide a video inspection? What is included in their services?
