November 2022 Real Estate Update 🏡

Home prices in Montreal’s housing market continue to fall as real estate markets across Canada face a slowdown in recent months.

The average home sold price for the West Island of Montreal was $656,300 for the month of November 2022, a 23% decrease from $857,688 in November 2021.

The average price for condominiums in November 2022 was $450,625 compared to November 2021 average price of $459,062. The condo market has remained stable even with the increase of interest rates. We are expecting one last rate hike before the end of 2022, should make for a slower start to the new year.

Les prix des maisons sur le marché immobilier de Montréal continuent de baisser alors que les marchés immobiliers de tout le Canada font face à un ralentissement ces derniers mois.

Le prix moyen des maisons vendues dans l'Ouest-de-l'Île de Montréal était de 656 300 $ pour le mois de novembre 2022, soit une baisse de 23 % par rapport aux 857 688 $ de novembre 2021.

Le prix moyen des condominiums en novembre 2022 était de 450 625 $, comparativement au prix moyen de 459 062 $ en novembre 2021. Le marché des copropriétés est resté stable malgré la hausse des taux d'intérêt. On s'attend à une dernière hausse des taux avant la fin de 2022, ce qui devrait ralentir le début de la nouvelle année.
