Overall the average selling price was estimated to be just slightly over $697,000. Broken down a bit further we understand that 7 of the sales were 2 Storey homes and had 3 or 4 bedroom homes. The average sales price on the 2 storey homes increases to just slightly over $720,000.

In 2016 this unique neighbourhood experienced a bit higher transition than in previous years. there were 12 homes that sold in the neighbourhood and it set a new standard for home prices in this small area of Port Perry. We saw that the majority of sales were detached, 2 Storey, 4 Bedroom Homes. The average sale price for this small neighbourhood was just a bit over $585,000 (based on 12 sales for the calendar year of 2016). If we break that down a bit further to look only at the 4 bedroom homes, then the average sold prices just over $615,000. The Statistics for this area have been compiled from the TREB MLS system for sales between January 1, 2016 and December 31, 2016.

The Ravines of Cawkers Creek is a family friendly neighbourhood located at the Northwest corner of Port Perry. Its close to schools, Community Centre and S. A. Cawker Public School. The area is made up of 5 Streets and a mixture of 4 Bedroom and 3 Bedroom homes of the 2 storey variety and a nice blend of bungalows. This area has a seen a rise in demand as very few new homes are being built in the Port Perry area so this is the last area development in town. There will be more in the not to distant future but for now this is the area of newer homes. So Far in 2016 - 3 Homes have sold in the neighbourhood of Cawkers Creek in Port Perry. There were 2 Bungalows and 1 - 2 Storey 4 bedroom home. It would appear that based on these thre sales that prices for homes in this unique neighbourhood in Port Perry are on the rise. Limited Inventory in the Port Perry area in general has also contributed to the rise in prices across Port Perry
