We are approaching the new capital gains on June 25th this will affect investors, secondary home owners, and seasonal property owners.

The new capital gains will now be 50% for the first $250,000 dollars and then jumps up to 66.7% after that.

The capital gains is any value over what you paid for the property less any improvements and betterments you have funded.

TIP- always keep every invoice, bill of sale or cash note for all improvements and betterments you have done to the property it’s not just the 7 year rule!
