Starting the busy 2025 with some quiet family time at the cabin

It felt like a huge milestone two days ago when I finally unpacked this nativity set that was gifted to me five Christmases ago.

Like many people, I have been through the phase of living minimal because you are staying with friends/family while you find your hopefully forever home. My husband and I lived in an outdoor garden shed that was about 25 sq ft bigger than our king-size bed without a bathroom for 16 months while our home was being built.
Being in transition is challenging, but when you get there, wow, doesn't it feel amazing?!?!?!
