Did you know?
Bankeir Post Office opened 1 October 1934, situated on Lot 4747 adjacent to KVR’s Jellicoe station; sometime before September 1953 the Post Office had been relocated to Lot 2078 at the south end of Chain Lake, relocated again in 1957 to Lot 4162 just north of Link Lake. (Currently Trailside Cabin Rentals). Bankeir Post Office closed 14 September 1963.
