Central Alberta’s market is giving buyers a little more breathing room right now.

We started August with the highest number of active listings we’ve seen in the past year, while July sales were down from both June and this time last year.

What does that mean? More choice for buyers, and a little more competition for sellers. Pricing, condition and presentation are becoming even more important.

And, as always, the market isn’t the same everywhere. Red Deer, Blackfalds, Lacombe and Penhold are still leaning toward sellers, while some other Central Alberta communities are balanced or favour buyers.

Bottom line: the market is shifting, but there are still opportunities on both sides. If you’re wondering what the numbers actually mean for your home or your plans to buy, let’s chat. 😊

Three of my favourite people.💕

A beautiful night at the Gulls game with my parents and my guy. Nothing fancy, just good people, good laughs, baseball and a lukewarm hotdog. 😂

It’s so easy to get caught up in everything going on, but these are the nights I want to remember. So make the plans, take the time, and enjoy the people you love.
