They want the perfect storm when rates are low, prices are low and inventory is high…well that’s not likely.

One of the most important steps of the home buying journey is getting pre-approved! 💵💯

A pre-approval helps you find out how much house you can afford. BUT EVEN more importantly it LOCKS IN your interest rate for 90-150 days depending on the policies at your bank or credit union. 🙌

That means if rates go up from the time you get pre-approved to when you buy a house, you’ll save money and have a lower interest rate because you locked in before the rate increase.

If rates go down from the time of your pre-approval, your mortgage rate will also go down! Winning!

You can’t lose when you have a pre-approval. It sets you up for success in big ways!
