We provide a free move for a family leaving a domestic violence situation.

No invoice.
No spotlight.
No names.
No faces.
No identifying details.

Just practical help when someone is trying to get somewhere safe and start over.

We believe people should not have to face that kind of transition alone. Sometimes the most meaningful thing we can do is show up, move what needs moving, and help take one more weight off someone’s shoulders.

Found the perfect couch on Facebook Marketplace but have no truck, and nobody with a truck? Already bought it and just need it home?

We can help with:

Local Red Deer flat-fee deliveries start at $60. Final price depends on the size, stairs, and distance.

Yesterday, two people didn't have a couch... today they do.

A big shout out thank you to Western Canadian Modular Homes and Nichole Batiuk for calling us to get these to a family in need after they were previously damaged by other movers.

Thanks to their generosity, two people who didn't have a couch before yesterday... now do.

No charge, no questions... just people helping people. That's why we do what we do.

Some of the hardest work happens after a loved one passes away… or moves into care.

You do not have to decide everything in one day.

Our Red Deer estate cleanouts are done patiently and respectfully. We go room by room, at your pace, and sort as we go.

Usable furniture and household items can be redirected to local people who need them instead of going to the landfill. Everything else is carefully hauled away.

We can also combine the cleanout with a move, a delivery, or move-out cleaning.

We’ll walk through the home with you first and give you a clear price before anything starts. No pressure. No judgment. Just practical help when life feels heavy.

they are being replaced after a lengthy time in storage at Wester Canadian Modular Homes....
they've been Staging furniture their whole lives and want a chance to actually be used.

Previous movers did not use proper protection and caused extensive damage to the super fine, delicate finish.

A: Yes, we can bring packing supplies and pack for you with a 2-person crew at $90/hr.

Q: How long does a 2-bedroom move take?
A: Many 2-bedroom moves take around 6–8 hours, depending on stairs, distance, furniture, and packing needs. Most 2–4 bedroom homes fall within that range.

Q: Are you insured?
A: Yes, we’re insured for our moving work.

Q: Can you move heavy or awkward items like pianos or safes?
A: Often, yes. Send us the details or a photo first so we can make sure we have the right equipment and crew.

Q: Do you take junk and unwanted furniture too?
A: Yes! We do junk removal and estate cleanouts. Usable items may be redirected to people who need them.

Q: How far ahead should I book?
A: Earlier is always better, but last-minute and same-day help is sometimes possible.

Some pieces just need someone to see what they could become… ❤️

Today, we’re celebrating our local furniture refinishing partner. The talented people who take donated furniture nobody wanted and bring it back to life.

We rescue the piece. They do the careful restoration. When the finished piece sells, the proceeds are split 50/50… and a local family gets a solid, beautiful piece for their home.

That is what community can look like: less waste, meaningful work, and a fresh start for furniture and families alike.

Thank you for the care, skill, and heart you put into every piece. We’re grateful to work alongside people who believe in giving good things another chance. 🙏

Today I got a call from Margaret Manly at the John Howard Society.

She's been helping a senior gentleman she's known for 30 years..... a genuinely good man, disabled and broke, living in an old downtown building that was filthy and overrun with mice and cockroaches. No cleanliness, no hygiene, not even a working stove. He'd been complaining about it, and he was told to move out.

Thankfully, the John Howard Society helped him secure a new apartment. But then came the problem: how do you move a man's whole life before the end of the day?

Through recommendations and referrals, they found their way to me..... and God had His hand in the timing, because it came at the exact moment I was actually able to make it happen.

So at the end of the work day, my amazing business partner Susanna May and I volunteered our time and went to see what we could do.

We met our new friend Scott and his girlfriend. It wasn't much.... a bed, a dresser, a couch, a TV, a coffee table, and about 15 bags and boxes. We emptied the whole apartment and off we went to his new place.

Seeing how thankful he was nearly did me in. He'd been thinking he'd have to start over with nothing.... because that's what happens when people can't afford to move their belongings.

And now he was walking into a nice, clean, fully renovated apartment, so excited.

I said to him, "God really had your back today — the fact that a busy guy like me actually had time... and you got me for free!" 😄

He just smiled and said, "Yes He did.".

(It was a beautiful moment as I saw him smiling with tears building in his eyes)

Thank you, Margaret, for caring about this sweet man. He genuinely deserved the help he got today.

I watched him walk up the stairs carrying a small box, and with his disability it was painful to watch .... that's when it really hit me how much Scott had been struggling.

I shook his hand, and I could feel that this man has been through a tough life.

I absolutely love the way it feels to see someone breathing easier with a smile, because we got to share our strengths where they're truly needed and appreciated. ❤️

God gives you what you need right when you need it. Prayers are strong. 🙏
